I developed a computationally efficient algorithm to optimize DNN hyperparameters for predicting polymer properties. My work involved building sequence-property metamodels for copolymers and mapping discrete polymer sequences to a continuous latent space using ML pipelines. This research, published as a Hot Article in Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (2023), provides a framework for constructing universal deep learning models with minimal data for polymer property prediction.

Predicting the Number of Phases of a Polymer from Monomer Positional Coordinates Data

Applied Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to reduce monomer positional data for 2D visualization. Implemented K-Means clustering on the reduced data to identify distinct polymer phases within the dataset.
